Elden Ring Nightreign already sold two million copies on its first day
By Marco Wutz

Elden Ring Nightreign hasn’t even been out for a full day yet and publisher Bandai Namco can already report the first major sales milestone for the game — two million copies have been sold worldwide across all platforms.
Nightreign reached several hundred thousand concurrent users on Steam shortly after launch, but received only mixed user reviews with a lot of the criticism aiming at some missing features, such as voice chat, and the lack of balancing for anything other than three-player squads.
“Elden Ring: Nightreign is more Elden Ring, but it also isn’t. It’s a brave new multiplayer experiment, and a bold recycling of older assets, to mixed results. Parts of Nightreign will likely define your fondest gaming moments of 2025, while the frustration caused by others might haunt your dreams,” DBLTAP’s Dave Aubrey wrote in his Elden Ring Nightreign review.
