Amazon announced that Fallout Season 2 will premier in December 2025 and confirmed that a third season of the video game adaptation has already been greenlit. The announcements were accompanied by a short teaser for the upcoming season at Amazon’s Upfront livestream.

Fans got a glimpse of New Vegas’ skyline in the clip, which also featured The Ghoul and Lucy.

“The holidays came a little early this year — we are thrilled to be ending the world all over again for a third season of Fallout,” executive producers Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy commented on the news. “On behalf of our brilliant cast and crew, our showrunners, and our partners at Bethesda, we’re grateful to our incredible collaborators at Amazon MGM Studios and to the amazing fans as we continue our adventures in the wasteland together.”

Season 1 of Fallout managed to satisfy fans of the video game franchise as well as fans of TV, gaining much acclaim for its story as well as faithfulness to the setting.

Fans will be mightily relieved about the December 2025 release window as well, since rumors were floating about that Season 2 wouldn’t come out this year at all due to the Californian fires bringing production to a complete halt at one point.
