Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time is getting a free roguelike DLC
By Ryan Woodrow

Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time has proved to be the biggest success the series has seen so far. It recently surpassed 1 million sales, and the team at Level-5 is hoping to keep that momentum going by announcing a DLC that will be free to all players.
The RPG/Life-sim game initially drew attention thanks to its similarities to Animal Crossing – something the developers themselves made fun of with their April Fool’s Day trailer – but it actually stands as its own thing, featuring RPG levelling and an expansive explorable world with combat and challenges to keep you busy between all of the social-sim stuff.

To serve these players, Level-5 has announced that “development is actively underway” for a new DLC for the game that will be released completely for free. It plans to “blend roguelike and open-world elements” that’ll add powerful new gear alongside a huge helping of mounts and cosmetics to craft and loot across the new section of the world.
Level-5 hasn’t released too many details on this just yet, and unfortunately we haven’t got a release date, but if you like Fantasy Life i, then you can rest easy knowing that new content is on its way.
