Fata Deum Early Access release date revealed

Fans of god sims akin to Black & White have been waiting a long while for this one: Fata Deum is going to be released into Early Access for PC via Steam on September 15, 2025.

It’s taken developer 42 Bits Entertainment six years to get to this point, but the strategy game is finally entering the homestretch. Similar to other games of the genre, Fata Deum is a city-builder in which you not only shape settlements and economies, but an entire belief system.

Your actions – whether benevolent and gentle or needlessly cruel – directly impact the beliefs of the people. No matter what type of god you want to be, always keep an eye on the competition, for other deities seek the favor of your followers as well. Every action has a reaction — and time is an important factor as well: Day is the time to perform miracles and construct buildings, while Night is the time to scheme and plan ahead.

“Our journey started with a humble Kickstarter, where 1,451 amazing backers believed in our vision and gave us the momentum to create something truly special.
