Football Manager 26 release date announced for PC, PS5, Xbox, Switch, iOS, and Android
By Marco Wutz

Sports Interactive announced that Football Manager 26 will be released on November 4, 2025, for PC, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, iOS, and Android. FM26 will be available via Game Pass on PC and Xbox consoles right from launch, while the mobile version will be a Netflix-exclusive. A Nintendo Switch version is set to launch on December 4, 2025.
Anyone preordering the game on PC will be able to dive into the game two weeks ahead of time via Advanced Access.
With FM25 having been canceled after a series of delays, FM26 will be the first iteration of the series to be released since FM24 in December 2023, an unusually long gap for sports games.
Despite the engine switch, FM26 will be backward compatible with saves from FM23 and FM24, so fans can continue playing their beloved savegames from previous titles on PC and consoles. The mobile version will feature backward compatibility for the first time ever as well, although it’s restricted to saves from FM24.
Accompanying the announcement was a first look at FM26’s user interface, which has been completely overhauled to provide more comprehensive overviews of important information, enable quicker navigation, and avoid menu cluttering.
