Fortnitemares 2025 brings crossover skins from Wednesday, Scooby Doo, and Scream
By Ryan Woodrow

Fortnitemares is the annual Halloween event for the battle royale game, and it always brings with it a few exciting crossover skins from spooky franchises. This year though Epic has gone all out and spoiled us with a huge lineup of exciting skins that will excite and delight fans all across the spooky spectrum.
The most heavily teased collaboration this year was that of Scooby Doo, and after some speculation of exactly which characters would make the cut, it’s a delightful surprise that all five main members of the Scooby gang are being added into the game. Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy, and even a walking-on-two-legs Scooby Doo are being added to the cast.
Mwahahaha.

There were more surprises too, as the update also came with the reveal that Wednesday Addams – based on Jenna Ortega’s portrayal of the character from the Netflix series – is being added to the game; she even has Thing on her shoulder. Slasher victims don’t despair though, as you’re also getting new additions in the form of Ghost Face from Scream and Jason from Friday the 13th.
Somehow, there’s still more, as a teaser image released alongside the trailer gives us teases for even more new crossover skins from indie horror hits. These include Huggy Wuggy from Poppy Playtime and the derpy little robots from R.E.P.O. It’s all topped off with a devil-themed skin for the headliner for the new season of Fortnite Festival: Doja Cat.
All of these skins will be released on the Fortnite item shop sometime between now and Halloween, so if they interest you, it’s time to save up your V-Bucks to celebrate the spooky season in style.
