Genshin Impact 5.7 banners: Skirk and Dahlia debut

Find out who is on the Genshin Impact 5.7 character banners.
HoYoverse

Update 5.7 for Genshin Impact finally brings a long awaited character into the fold who might be able to shine some light on some of the deepest and darkest secrets of Teyvat.

Skirk has been highly anticipated ever since she first showed up during the climax of Fontaine’s Archon Quest and revealed herself as Tartaglia’s battle-hardened mentor — but more crucially, Skirk herself has been tutored by one of the great Sinners after arriving in Teyvat from another world, similar to the Traveler. Suffice to say, she’s an intriguing one.

Version 5.7 will also see the arrival of Dahlia, the cleric from Mondstadt we’ve been introduced to in the previous update.

Genshin Impact 5.7 banners: Phase 1

Starting on June 18, 2025, with update 5.7’s launch, you’ll be able to call upon the following characters:

  • Banner #1: Skirk (5-Star, Cryo, Sword), Dahlia (4-Star, Hydro, Sword), and two 4-Star characters
  • Banner #2: Shenhe (5-Star, Cryo, Polearm), Dahlia (4-Star, Hydro, Sword), and two 4-Star characters

Skirk’s combat style is heavily influenced by the teachings of Surtalogi the Foul, her mentor. She can amass Serpent’s Subtlety to fuel her abilities and is not dependent on Elemental Energy like traditional Vision Holders. Skirk creates Void Rifts when her allies trigger Elemental Reactions, which she can absorb to gain additional Serpent’s Subtlety and increase her combat power. She is mainly designed to run with Freeze teams, as she gains special benefits from Cryo and Hydro allies, but her Void Rift creation works with all Cryo-related reactions.

Shenhe

Shenhe is a potent Sub DPS and Support character for Cryo-related team compositions. Her Burst can apply Cryo from off-field within a large range and decrease the Cryo RES of enemies caught by it, greatly helping her team’s damage output. Her abilities also grant a variety of buffs to her allies.

Dahlia

Dahlia is a Hydro character with an interesting niche, as he’s able to facilitate Plunging Attacks. His Skill can be manually placed on the battlefield, either as an explosive mine to damage the enemy or as a jump pad for allies, allowing them to gain height. He can also shield his allies and increase their attack speed.

Genshin Impact 5.7 banners: Phase 2

After a duration of three weeks, the banners will change at the halfway point of the game version on July 9, 2025. That’ll make the following characters available:

  • Banner #3: Mavuika (5-Star, Pyro, Claymore) and three 4-Star characters
  • Banner #4: Emilie (5-Star, Dendro, Polearm) and three 4-Star characters

Mavuika is a jack-of-all-trades and can be fielded as a Main DPS or Sub DPS, depending on the team composition you want to roll with. She can be a devastating force on the field or provide an array of off-field attacks to support her team. Being Natlan’s Archon, she’s mainly meant to work with other characters from this region and interact with the Nightsoul Points mechanic.

Emilie

Emilie is a Sub DPS designed to slot into Burning teams, as she can greatly increase Burning DMG for the entire party and even more so for herself. Since her main capabilities are off-field, she’s a fantastic secondary damage dealer for characters that require more field time.
