Genshin Impact Luna II banners: Nefer debuts

HoYoverse has revealed the Genshin Impact Luna II (6.1) banners, clarifying the order of character banners for the upcoming version of the game.

In contrast to the previous version, which saw three brand-new characters added to the game, Luna II will only supplement players’ rosters with one new unit in the person of Nefer, the intel merchant from Sumeru who’s made her home in Nod-Krai’s Nasha Town.

Genshin Impact Luna II banners: Phase 1

Starting on October 22, 2025, with update Luna II’s launch, you’ll be able to call upon the following characters:

• Banner #1: Nefer (5-Star, Dendro, Catalyst) and three 4-Star characters
• Banner #2: Furina (5-Star, Hydro, Sword) and three 4-Star characters

Nefer

Similar to Lauma, Nefer has an animal-inspired Charged Attack that allows her to move forward rapidly in a burst of speed. In another similarity, Nefer makes use of the Verdant Dew mechanic to empower her Elemental Skill and Charged Attack. Like other Nod-Krai characters, she makes use of the Moonsign mechanics to buff herself and can trigger the Lunar version of Bloom — all in all, she’ll make for a great Main DPS in Lunar-Bloom teams, especially with Lauma as a party member.

Furina

Furina is a top-of-the-line Support and Sub DPS with excellent versatility, as she can heal, apply Hydro from off the field, and boost the team’s overall damage output with buffs. Since she drains or heals the party consistently, she’s a fantastic enabler for teams with HP-based mechanics.

Genshin Impact Luna II banners: Phase 2

After a duration of three weeks, the banners will change at the halfway point of the game version on November 12, 2025. That’ll make the following characters available:

• Banner #3: Arlecchino (5-Star, Pyro, Polearm) and three 4-Star characters
• Banner #4: Zhongli (5-Star, Geo, Polearm) and three 4-Star characters

Arlecchino

Arlecchino is a powerful Main DPS who makes extensive use of the Bond of Life mechanics that was introduced in Fontaine. With external healing being restricted, she’s a pretty self-reliant unit that can imbue her own attacks with Pyro DMG to trigger reactions.

Zhongli

Zhongli remains a powerhouse Support for a myriad of team compositions thanks to his shields and debuffs, which allow him to both keep his party safe and increase its damage output.
