Helldivers 2: Into the Unjust update gets September 2025 release date

Super Earth strikes back.

After a major story arc that featured the Illuminate, Helldivers 2 is bringing things back to the basics: humans versus bugs. Coming to PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S on September 2, 2025, the Into the Unjust update will feature Super Earth’s offensive into the Terminid Hive Worlds, hidden by the Gloom.

Helldivers will be asked to land on the dusty surfaces of these planets, braving the low visibility and advancing deep into the caverns below to destroy the Gloom’s source. Due to the fog, not all support systems usually available will be at our disposal — our Super Destroyers, for one.

The Terminids defend their Hive Worlds with new versions of the Warriors, Bile Spewers, and Chargers as well as brand-new mutations like the airborne Dragonroach — and that’s just the monsters developer Arrowhead is telling us about.

Naturally, liberating Hive Worlds comes with a whole new set of missions, such as escorting a mobile oil rig or destroying underground structures.

Two days after the update’s release, Arrowhead will launch the next Helldivers 2 Warbond, Dust Devils, on September 4, 2025.

It comes with the AR-2 Coyote, an assault rifle with incendiary ammunition that’s hard to control, and the G-7 Pineapple, a cluster frag grenade designed to shred Terminids in enclosed spaces. Additionally, Helldivers will get access to the S-11 Speargun, a heavy rocket launcher that fires gas-emitting projectiles, the EAT-700 Expendable Napalm missile, and the MS-11 Solo Silo — a stratagem calling down a small missile silo with one powerful projectile steered by a handheld targeting remote.

The armor sets included in this Warbond – DS-42 Federation’s Blade and DS-191 Scorpion – grant resistance to fire, gas, acid, and arc damage as well as providing bonus range to throwing.
