Saber Interactive has promised to make an announcement on July 22, 2025, and kept its word: The developer of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is working on survival horror action title Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival, which will come to PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. The game doesn’t have a release date yet.

Hellraiser: Revival is a first-person horror game in which players step into the shoes of Aiden. His girlfriend, Sunny, is stuck in an “otherworldly hellscape” and he needs to use the Genesis Configuration, a strange puzzle box, to help her escape.

The Genesis Configuration’s powers will be key to survive encounters with Pinhead and those who’ve sworn allegiance to the cult of the Cenobites.

Doug Bradley will reprise his role as Pinhead for the game, close to two decades since he’s last donned the needles.

“Working on the first true Hellraiser game has been a venture deep into the recesses of my darkest imaginings,” commented Clive Barker, who created Hellraiser and helped shape the game’s story. “The dedication that Saber and Boss Team Games have shown is nothing short of remarkable. They’ve immersed themselves in the Hellraiser universe, capturing its essence – the seductive pull of suffering, the beauty within the grotesque – and forged a narrative that invites players to step beyond the threshold. I’m eager for both the curious and the damned to experience this new chapter in the Hellraiser mythos, where every moment balances on the brink of nightmare and revelation.”

“Hellraiser is the quintessential horror franchise, and lends itself perfectly to a video game,” added Matthew Karch, CEO and co-founder of Saber Interactive. “Saber has had success with horror IPs in the past, and working alongside Clive to create tense gameplay and a new story that delves into the twisted depths of pain and pleasure has been a real treat. We look forward to opening up the gates of hell.”
