Heroes of Valor is basically Battlefield Heroes and comes to Early Access in June 2025

Remember Battlefield Heroes? Did you get that cheery, whistling version of the Battlefield theme stuck in your head immediately after reading that name? Then there might be a new cartoon shooter capable of scratching that nostalgic itch for you: Heroes of Valor is set to come to PC via Early Access on June 12, 2025, and it sure looks a lot like Battlefield Heroes… like, a lot. Down to similar UI elements.
Developed by Fancy Cat Interactive and published by Iceberg Interactive, the multiplayer title pits cartoon versions of the Axis and the Allies against each other on the ground as well as in the air with a variety of weapons and vehicles.
Like its primary inspiration – to be generous – it features a class-based character system and players can choose to play as a Recon (sneaky infiltrator or sniper), Trooper (versatile soldier), Heavy (heavily-armed suppressor), and Engineer (vehicle-focused). Each class has abilities, weapons, and playstyles unique to it.
The Early Access launch will contain planes, tanks, and motorcycles as available vehicles and offer several game modes, including Conquest and Team of the Hill. Users can customize their servers, though, choosing adapted rulesets, map rotations, time of day, and other settings. For those looking to simply have a good time with friends, the game offers bots to fill empty slots.
In the spirit of Battlefield Heroes, Heroes of Valor has plenty of silly skins and customization options for characters in store.
Heroes of Valor is clearly a love letter to the cartoon shooter from 2009 with the banging main theme — but will it have more staying power? The Early Access release will be the first test of that.
