Hololive’s publishing arm for fan-developed games, holo Indie, has announced its latest upcoming title, the Papers, Please-inspired quiz game Hologuard. It’ll arrive on PC before the end of 2025 for just $3.99 USD.

Hologuard tasks players with being the receptionist at the Hololive office — a place not anyone can simply walk into. It’ll be your duty to check the incoming people’s credentials and sniff out fakes by using your knowledge of the virtual idols working at the company.

“You’re the newest security guard at Hololive office. Your task is simple but vital: protect each talent’s privacy. Counterfeit IDs, forged documents, tall tales — bring nothing but your wits, your knowledge of the talents, and a whole lot of love. Minimize the damage, prove your worth, and earn that full-time contract,” the game’s description states.

Hologuard will feature a regular game mode lasting seven in-game days and an endless mode in which one mistake is all that’s needed to cause game over. Survive as long as you can and rise through the ranks of the leaderboard to prove yourself Hololive’s strongest fans.
