Honkai: Nexus Anima revealed for PC, iOS, and Android
By Marco Wutz

It’s official: Honkai: Nexus Anima is a “creature-collector adventure strategy game” coming to PC, iOS, and Android from HoYoverse, its combat system being an auto-chess mode.
In the world of HNA, Nexus is the concept of a bond between contrasting concepts such as Life and Death or Light and Dark. However, the balance between these things has been shattered by an unforeseen incident, transforming the power of these concepts into Anima — the creatures. Players will have to form bonds with these Anima through missions and battle, unlocking their abilities and combining them to get stronger in combat as well as more adept at exploring the overworld.
Players take on the role of a traveler adept at jumping from world to world, who’s on the run after escaping imprisonment.
HoYoverse announced that players will first get a chance to try out the game during the Nexus Bond Test, for which sign-ups are now open. Interested players can use the official website to register until September 12, 2025. The Nexus Bond Test will be available on PC and iOS.
The official website lists a total 66 Anima for the game currently, with more to discover in the future. Around half of these are already uncovered, including their names, types, and traits. Listed also are some of the characters players will encounter, divided into Sovereigns (who owned the shattered Aspects in the old world), Novarchs (who own the Aspects in the new world), and Others (who don’t have a specified role yet).
Honkai: Star Rail’s Blade is among the Novarchs, while Honkai Impact 3rd’s Kiana is among the Others.
