Hooded Horse picks up Fogpiercer ahead of Early Access launch in 2026

Publisher Hooded Horse has signed another promising strategy game to its roster: Fogpiercer is a roguelite deckbuilding game in which players need to upgrade and protect a train as it makes its way through dangerous terrain, heist attempts, and other threats. Developed by Mad Cookies Studio, it’s set to be released into Early Access on PC in 2026.
In Fogpiercer, your deck is represented by the train, providing you cards depending on carriages and upgrades you’ve added to the vehicle. Combat is both turn- and grid-based, allowing you to force enemies into positions in which they can get crushed by your train or even shoot foes that approach from the other side.
Typical for the genre, Fogpiercer features an overworld map with branching paths, each holding different encounters and events. The meta progression offers upgrades and rewards as players complete runs, even if they ultimately aren’t successful.
Before Fogpiercer gets into players’ hands, Hooded Horse and Amplitude Studios are set to launch Endless Legend 2 into Early Access.
