HoYoverse announces dialog skip and mission replay functions for HSR
By Marco Wutz

HoYoverse has confirmed that several long awaited features are coming to Honkai: Star Rail in the next couple of updates. HSR 3.4, which is set to be released on July 2, 2025, will introduce the ability to skip dialog, so anyone thinking that there’s too much ‘yapping’ in the game will be able to breeze through conversations. A summary of the skipped sequence will be displayed to ensure that players can still follow the current events.
Version 3.4 will enable these two features for Herta Space Station, Jarilo-VI, and Amphoreus — the Xianzhou Luofu and Penacony arcs will get access in HSR 3.6.
Also planned for HSR 3.6 is another highly requested feature: The ability to watch any of the cutscenes and cinematics that appeared throughout the story as well as to explore alternative dialog choices in past missions. This won’t amount to full mission replayability, as old combat and exploration portions won’t be accessible through this function, but that wasn’t what fans wanted anyway.
HSR 3.4 is going to be a major update for the turn-based RPG: It will feature the debut of fan favorite character Phainon and the climax of the first half of the ongoing Amphoreus story, the implementation of buffs for four older characters, and the long awaited collaboration with Fate UBW, which will see Saber and Archer becoming playable.
We can expect to hear details on HSR 3.4 during a developer livestream later this week.
