Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 surpasses three million copies sold

The medieval RPG conquers another milestone.
Warhorse Studios / Plaion

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 sold one million copies in one day, two million in two weeks, and now made it three million in three months. It’s likely not a pattern the developer wants to follow going forward, but it has served Warhorse Studios and publisher Plaion well so far.

And it’s not just the new game that’s continuing to sell well: Kingdom Come: Deliverance keeps up the momentum it gathered ever since the sequel was announced and has crossed ten million copies sold to create a second cause for celebration.

“Thank you for making history with us. Audentes Fortuna Iuvat,” the publisher posted on social media.

The developer stated: “Over 3 million Henrys setting out on their adventures — and leaving their mark on Bohemia. Thank you for every quest completed, every battle fought, and every story written!”

There is someone else that should feel a lot of gratitude for the series’ continued success — the Embracer Group. Plaion’s parent company has been through tough times, a radical cost-cutting program, and a split-up that saw prominent brands leave for independence or other umbrellas, but when Embracer presents its next financial report towards the end of May 2025, the numbers should look a lot rosier thanks to the Czech development studio.

To celebrate the cracked milestone, Warhorse released a few fun stats about its latest game. According to that information, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 are cultured people indeed, as their consumption of 31.2 million cups of wine versus 24.6 cups of beer shows.

Henry so far has been drunk a total of 387 million hours and killed a respectable 4.01 million enemies while inebriated. That’s just a small portion of his overall victims, which total over 489.13 million people — the man can rival the Black Death.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
