Lego Fortnite Expeditions asks what if Fortnite was more like Helldivers
By Ryan Woodrow

One day, you will be able to play a version of every video game in Fortnite. To add to the tally, over the last couple of years, Fortnite has added a survival crafting mode, a rhythm game, a racing game, a life-sim roleplay mode, a Counter-Strike-style tactical shooter, and now comes this PvE co-op action game featuring superhero powers.
Launching on June 18, the latest trailer for this mode sees you take on Daigo’s forces of evil, exploring mission maps and rescuing citizens as you go in up to 4-player co-op action. You’ll be able to explore Lego versions of some of the current POIs in Fortnite Battle Royale, like Utopia City, and Supernova Academy, the latter of which serves as the base of your operations.
You’ll get to choose between three hero classes, each based on the original characters in this season’s Battle Pass. There’s the Shadow Caller, based on Myst, who uses magic abilities; the Hunter, based on KIllswitch who can grapple around, set traps, and strike with their blade; and finally, the Rift Ripper, based on Lightrider, who can uses Rift energy to move about the place quickly and deal big AoE damage.
Rather than getting its own pass, this will tie in to the existing Lego Pass in Fortnite, so you don’t have to worry about buying anything new when the mode launches tomorrow.
