Marvel Rivals announces Marvel Zombies PvE mode

Players have been asking for a PvE mode in Marvel Rivals and NetEase Games is answering: The hero shooter’s first-ever PvE experience, Zombie Mode, will be out on October 23, 2025, for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
Thor, Blade, Magik, Jeff, and The Punisher will be available as playable characters in the mode, which will task players with surviving waves of undead and then battle Zombie Namor and The Queen of the Dead as bosses. It’s relatively simple and straightforward, but things have to start somewhere.
You can look forward to the playable characters getting some unique abilities, though, so they’ll feel a bit different to play than in the game’s core PvP modes.
What’s still unclear is whether this mode will be time-limited to coincide with the release of the Marvel Zombies show on Disney+ and Halloween or if it’s going to be a permanent addition.
In any case, fans eager to get some PvE action in Marvel Rivals can do so next week and hope that this test run will open the door to future experiences.
