Microsoft brings Hollow Knight: Silksong to Gamescom 2025
By Marco Wutz

Although Microsoft had already announced its presence on the Gamescom 2025 showfloor, only two of its offerings were known — World of Warcraft: Midnight and Call of Duty: Black Ops 7.
Now, the company has provided further details on its line-up of games, both from first-party and third-party studios. The presence of Hollow Knight: Silksong in particular should make fans very happy — it’s been too quiet around the long-awaited title and it was absent from one showcase after another over the past months.
Not only is the game not a fever dream we’ve collectively hallucinated, the game will be playable at Gamescom 2025. Silksong will be available to try on Microsoft’s upcoming handheld PCs, the ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X.
