Mina the Hollower release date delayed on all platforms
By Marco Wutz

Shovel Knight maker Yacht Club Games’ upcoming title Mina the Hollower will not be released on October 31, 2025, as originally planned, the developer announced. While the studio isn’t yet ready to commit to a new release date for the game, it assured fans that it “isn’t a major delay.”
“This week, our team made a tough decision: we decided to delay Mina the Hollower. The entire crew has been working tirelessly day and night to finish development for release on October 31, but we’re just not quite there yet. This isn’t a major delay, it’s just a stretch of time to apply some final polish and balancing to make the game truly shine,” Yacht Club Games stated.
Specifically, the team is focusing on “finalizing design, art, and sound, overall game balancing, implementing localization, eating cheese, and testing on all platforms.”
With Mina the Hollower being set to come to PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2, quality assurance on all systems is a proverbial mountain of work.
Yacht Club Games wants to communicate a new release date for Mina the Hollower once the title has been submitted for verification on all platforms.
