Nintendo has announced that it will host a Direct showcase for Kirby Air Riders on August 19, 2025. The broadcast will be about 45 minutes long and cover information about the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 game — nothing else.

Although the showcase will be hosted one day ahead of Gamescom 2025, where Nintendo will be present with a booth and hand-on opportunities, the game will likely not be available to test, as it’s not been included in the list of games the company is bringing to the showfloor.

The Kirby Air Riders Direct will kick off at 9am EDT — check below to see what that means for your timezone:

Kirby Air Riders is supposed to be released in 2025 and will be the sequel to 2003’s Kirby Air Ride, a GameCube title. However, Nintendo has so far kept details under wraps, so the video premiering on August 19 will be the first thorough look at the title.

More information and announcements from Gamescom are set to follow at Opening Night Live 2025, the event’s opening showcase hosted by Geoff Keighley later on the same day.
