Last month, we got several teases from Nintendo, with a Kirby Rider’s Direct, a third-party presentation Direct, but people have still been crying out for a full Nintendo Direct, and we’re finally getting it.
Nintendo has announced that a Nintendo Direct will be broadcast on Friday, September 12, at 9am ET and is set to be 60 minutes long. Here’s what that means for your time zone:

- 2pm BST
- 3pm CEST
- 6:30pm IST
- 9pm CST

- 11pm AEST
- 1am NZST (September 5)
Where to watch the September 2025 Nintendo Direct
As always, the Direct will be streaming live on Nintendo’s YouTube channels, with different versions for each region. These different versions usually all contain the same information, though are adjusted for region-specific details like language and age ratings.
What to expect in the September 2025 Nintendo Direct
This Direct is most likely to focus on already announced titles that we’re still eagerly awaiting release dates on. Several third-party titles are awaiting release dates, including Professor Layton and the New World of Steam, as well as the Switch 2 versions of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth and Elden Ring.
As for first-party games, Metroid Prime 4 is the big one people are awaiting a release date for. Hopefully, we’ll see it here, or if not, the date for an MP4 Direct stream that will give us the release date at long last. Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment is another one. The last Direct gave us a Winter 2025 window for it, but there’s a chance we’ll get something more specific this time.
Nintendo is always one to surprise though, so who knows what else might be in store? Check back here after the broadcast for our roundup of everything that gets covered.
