Palfarm, a Palworld spin-off farming-sim revealed
By Ryan Woodrow

Just a couple of weeks after Nintendo revealed Pokémon Pokopia, the team at Pocketpair has revealed the first official Palworld spin-off game, Palfarm, in a coincidence that is sure to have the team there kicking themselves with frustration that Pokémon got there first.
Still, Palfarm certainly has the leg-up on the visuals, as the game looks beautiful, with an isometric perspective combined with tilt-shift effects to make the world look absolutely adorable, and filled with as much color and beauty as Palworld.

In the brief reveal trailer, we got a look at various different elements of gameplay, with various Pals running shops around town as you grow your farm, with the ability to give tools to your Pals so they can help you with tasks on the farm like mining, fishing, and felling trees, all of which you can do yourself.
It’s not lacking Palworld’s dark humour either, as a brief clip is shown of a man seemingly offering you a game of Russian Roulette, as well as Pengullet getting squished by a tree as it falls and getting caught by the player. It will be interesting to see how the Pal capturing mechanics work in this world where other Pals are seemingly as sentient and functioning as regular humans. Let’s just hope you can’t go around butchering them in this one.
There’s no word yet on when the game is expected to launch, but its Steam page is live so you can wishlist it to keep track.
