Palworld's Tides of Terraria update is dropping next week

Ever since it was first announced, it’s been exciting to see what Terraria features are making their way to Palworld, and just a few months ago, we discovered that the game’s next major update would focus heavily on Terraria-themed content. Turns out we won’t have to wait much longer, as Pocketpair made the announcement today that the update will drop next Wednesday, June 25, 2025.

While we don’t know exactly what’s on the way just yet, all of the promotional materials have featured the Eye of C’thulu, the first major boss from Terraria, so it’s likely we’ll be forced to face off with that in some way, and who knows? Maybe we’ll even get to tame it as a Pal. Either way, the Eye is just one of many bosses in Terraria, so maybe there’s more in store that Pocketpal has kept under wraps.

It’s not all crossover content though, as this update will also give us a brand new island to explore with a bunch of new Pals on it to capture, and given the pattern with updates so far, it’s also highly likely that we’ll be getting an expansion to the tech tree with a bunch of cool new features to expand our Pal empires.

This comes just a couple of months after Palworld’s gliding mechanics were allegedly forced to change due to the ongoing lawsuit with Nintendo, but that definitely won’t be a problem with any of this crossover content.
