Following massive criticism by the community, Paradox Interactive has decided to expand the base content of Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 by rolling the planned DLC with the Lasombra and Toreador Clans into the base game. This will give players two additional origin options to choose from, in turn providing them with more dialog options, skills, and cosmetics.

This brings the number of available clans in the base game from four to six. The Toreador are known for their vampiric charm and manipulation techniques that allow them to enthrall people, while the Lasombra are known as the masters of shadow.

At the same time, Paradox revealed two Story Packs that will become available post-launch. Titled Loose Cannon and The Flower & the Flame, the two DLCs will enable players to take control of different protagonists. In Loose Cannon, they play as the Camarilla sheriff Benny Muldoon, while The Flower & the Flame is experienced through the perspective of Primogen Ysabella Moore. Both are important characters that will appear in the main story and their individual adventures will reveal more context and information about Bloodlines 2's main character, Phyre.

Both expansions are planned to be released in 2026 and will be included in the title’s Premium Edition as a replacement for the DLC that’s been rolled into the base game, which is set to come to PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S on October 21, 2025.
