Details for Pokémon Legends: Z-A Ranked Season 2 have been revealed, and with it comes the information on how players will be able to get this season’s featured Mega Stone, Delphoxite. However, it’s turned out to be easier than expected.

In Season 1, players had to progress all the way from Rank Z to Rank K to get the featured Mega Stone, Greninjite, with it being advertised as the only time the stone would be available. This wasn’t too difficult a task, as you could rank up in the game without having to win battles. However, it was a significant time investment that many players complained about.

In response, two major changes have been made. Firstly, anyone who missed the Greninjite in Ranked Season 1 now has another chance to get it in Season 2. Even better, you only have to reach Rank Y to do so, which is something you can quite easily do with almost no effort in a single battle. Secondly, the Delphoxite that is featured this season will only require players to reach Rank S to earn it. This can also theoretically be done in one battle if you perform well, but realistically, it’ll take most players 2 or 3 battles to reach, which is much quicker than before.

On top of that, Xerneas and Yveltal have been unbanned from play for the coming season, set to run from November 5 to November 26, so you can use two of Kalos’ legendary Pokémon in battle. However, Zygarde still remains banned for now, so you can’t unleash its ridiculous power just yet.
