Battlefield 2042, FBC: Firebreak lead PS Plus games in June 2025

Sony has announced the PlayStation Plus additions for June 2025, which will be available to claim for the service’s subscribers until the next wave arrives. Remedy Entertainment’s co-op shooter FBC: Firebreak will arrive as a Day 1 title on PS Plus, making it one of the few games that come to Sony’s membership and Xbox Game Pass at the same time.

A bigger name, though, comes in the form of Battlefield 2042. The latest addition to the iconic series has been out for a good while and underwent many crucial changes that did somewhat remedy its controversial state at launch, but the title’s reputation never fully recovered from it. Altogether, though, it’s become a solid shooter to have fun with and delivers the large-scale combat experience fans of the series are looking for much better than its competitors.

With the next Battlefield game on course to be revealed in Summer 2025, now might be the time to dive into the current iteration, even if only for the sake of comparing the offerings later.
