Sins of a Solar Empire 2: Reinforcements release date revealed for PC
By Marco Wutz

Stardock has announced that Sins of a Solar Empire 2: Reinforcements will be released on September 25, 2025, for PC. The DLC will be available for $14.99 USD or be available without extra payment as part of the game’s Premium Edition or Content Pass.
Reinforcements is the most intriguing expansion for Sins of a Solar Empire 2 yet, adding unique victory conditions for each of its factions. The Vasari can build massive Arkships to escape from the sector, while the Advent deploy massive conversion systems to imbue absolute loyalty in the populations or entire star systems. The human TEC – subtle as always – may construct a huge Novalith cannon, which can crack entire planets and enforce peace the hard way.
True to the DLC’s title, all factions also gain access to a brand-new ship class to reinforce their fleets with. Command ships form a bridge between capital ships and titans, bringing firepower and strategic abilities to the table.
The TEC Enclave’s Takadaran-class Command Fortress is a massive mobile support platform capable of producing cruisers mid-battle, while the TEC Primacy’s Khevarkov-class Modular Battleship is a high-speed vessel that can be customized with various weapon systems and hangars, depending on what the player needs.
The Vasari Alliance can field the Sularkon Tyrant, a city-ship that can lock down an entire system with its integrated Phase Gate. Their Exodus counterparts can build the colossal Anarkrul Wanderer, a former refugee transport that was turned into a hulking carrier.
The Advent Wrath’s Oblivia-class Dreadnought is a heavily armored frontliner equipped with deadly Super Heavy Psi-Kinetic Lances that can tear apart pretty much anything, while the Advent Reborn’s Justicia-class Dreadnought grows stronger as allies are destroyed around it, before unleashing devastating retribution.
