Netmarble announces Solo Leveling: Karma for PC, iOS, and Android
By Marco Wutz

Solo Leveling protagonist Sung Jinwoo is getting yet another arena to aura farm in. Netmarble has announced Solo Leveling: Karma, an isometric action RPG based on the popular manhwa and anime series. The game will include roguelite elements – Hades seems to be an inspiration – and launch for PC, iOS, and Android. There is no release date for the title as of yet.
Karma will not follow the story as told in the original manhwa or the anime based on it. Instead, it will tell a new story set inside the Dimensional Gap — an unexplored time period in Jinwoo’s life. Fighting a 27-year-long war among Monarchs, he must restore an artifact known as the Broken Cup of Reincarnation.
Jinwoo will have access to a varied arsenal of weapons, including daggers, a bow, and a scythe, and will face unknown enemies as well as familiar faces, such as Cerberus, Vulcan, Baran, and the Statue of Cartenon Temple.
The isometric hack ‘n slash combat will be enhanced by Blessings, which provide buffs to skills and stats. Naturally, Jinwoo can summon members of his shadow army to assist him in combat, so expect friends like Igris and Iron to fight alongside you.
The Korean developer is already running Solo Leveling: Arise, which managed to carve out a niche for itself in the competitive gacha market — no easy feat and a clear sign of the IP’s own power.
