Successful inZOI launch drives record quarterly profits for KRAFTON

Korean publisher and developer KRAFTON has published its first earnings release of the year, covering the first quarter of 2025 — and things look rosy. The company posted a record Q1 in terms of revenue (around $610m USD) and operating profit (around $318m USD) thanks to steady growth in most sectors, which was driven by the continuing consistency of PUBG and the success of newly released life sim inZOI.
PC and mobile remain the company’s most profitable platforms by far, consoles trailing behind.

KRAFTON stated that inZOI sold over one million copies in its first week available as an Early Access. It doesn’t have a fixed date for a full launch yet, but the company plans on announcing information in that regard some time in 2026, according to the earnings presentation.
In the long term, KRAFTON hopes to make inZOI one of its mainstay IPs, but for the time being the developers are focusing on consistent updates, implementing feedback, and experimenting.
As far as the remaining line-up for 2025 goes, KRAFTON is putting its hopes in Dinkum and its spin-off, Dinkum Together, as well as mobile extraction RPG Project AB and Subnautica 2. The long-awaited underwater survival adventure is expected to come out as an Early Access game on PC and consoles in the second half of 2025, featuring co-op gameplay and expanded exploration mechanics. It’ll also be an Xbox Game Pass title. KRAFTON leadership stated that it has "high expectations" for the upcoming title, based on its predecessor's success.
PUBG remains the company’s cornerstone and will continue to be expanded upon in the future. KRAFTON currently has three additional PUBG titles in production, namely top-down shooter PUBG Blindspot, a dedicated console battle royale named Valor, and extraction shooter Black Budget. On PC, the switch to Unreal Engine 5 and opening towards user-generated content is designed to transform PUBG into a platform on top of being a game, similar to Fortnite.
