Paradox Interactive and Haemimont Games have announced Surviving Mars: Relaunched for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Relaunched will be a remastered version of the original city-builder developed by the studio and launched in 2018. It will feature enhanced graphics, an overhauled user interface, and additional content not present in the original game, such as government mechanics.

Additionally, Relaunched will contain all DLC that was added to Surviving Mars post-launch and owners of the original game will be able to take advantage of a discount, if they want to upgrade their game to the enhanced version.

Relaunched will be available for a suggested retail price of $39.99 USD, with players purchasing the title on the same platform as the original game receiving a $20 discount.

Surviving Mars: Relaunched will come with modding tools and support mods on all platforms as well. A release date for the game has not yet been announced, though Paradox stated that the game is “coming soon.”

Having worked together in the past, Paradox Interactive fully acquired Haemimont earlier this year at an undisclosed price. Surviving Mars: Relaunched will be the first title to be released by the studio under the new ownership.
