Umamusume will increase its daily rewards later this month
By Marco Wutz

While Umamusume: Pretty Derby has taken the world by storm following its global release, the initial generosity of the game’s launch phase is now behind us. For many players this was a bit of a rude awakening, as Cygames’ title is subscribing to old Japanese gacha game practices — meaning lots of grinding for very little pull currency. Combine that with the antiquity of the gacha system itself and you’ve got the ingredients for lots of frustration, especially as many players are used to the practices from Chinese gacha games by now, which are more generous overall.
These issues are exacerbated by the accelerated schedule Umamusume is currently running on as it tries to catch up to the Japanese version, which is several years ahead. While Cygames is issuing extra rewards from time to time to compensate for the rapid pace of banners, users have been begging the developers to adjust other income sources as well — and the studio listened.
Starting on September 22, 2025, Umamusume players will get more rewards from logging in, completing their daily missions, competing in team trials, and increasing their club ranking.
Cygames also mentioned that a separate reward “for the item adjustments” will be given out as an extra bonus.
With the increased rewards from daily and monthly activities, players should have an easier time pulling for desired characters and support cards without having to lay real money on the table.
September 22 will also see the team trials feature disabled for a couple of hours to allow time for maintenance work. Similarly, clubs will be unavailable for some time on October 1, 2025.
