Nexon announced an alpha test for Vindictus: Defying Fate, its upcoming action RPG, on PC. It will kick off on June 8, 2025, and people will be able to sign up via the game’s Steam page once the test has come closer.
Compared to the pre-alpha test from March 2024, this round will feature companion NPCs, more combat mechanics, a village and inventory system, and other additions.
A newly released trailer for the upcoming alpha test showcases the new hub village and Tieve, a new NPC. The combat footage has been shot using the playable characters Lann, Fiona, Delia, and Karok with which you players can also team up using the companion system for especially tough bosses.
Examples for such mighty enemies include the White Tyrant and the Blood Lord, two towering foes that will push anyone to their limits.
Alongside new playable characters and combat mechanics, the alpha will introduce multiplayer raids to the game, allowing players to team up to tackle especially difficult enemies. Progression systems such as leveling and crafting will be present for the first time as well and the main story has been expanded compared to the last outing.
The global alpha test for Vindictus: Defying Fate will last from June 8 to 16, 2025.
