Auroch reveals Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 for PC, PS5, and Xbox
By Marco Wutz

Auroch Digital has announced Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2, a sequel to its boomer shooter from 2023. It will be available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S some time in 2026.
It will once again feature Space Marine Malum Caedo as the protagonist and plenty of heretics as well as daemons to purge with all manner of weaponry. Among the new enemies in Caedo’s sights are Khornate Bloodletters and Juggernauts, whose lifeblood will surely flow in streams to please their deity.
Similar to the original game, Boltgun 2 will stick to its retro roots in terms of gameplay as well as visuals.
Alongside the Boltgun sequel, Auroch had a rather surprising spin-off announcement. Boltgun – Words of Vengeance is available right now for free on Steam and mashes the retro shooter with competitive typing — yes, that’s right: It’s a first-person typer in which words are your greatest weapons. Type the randomized words and phrases appearing on screen as quickly as possible to rid the Imperium of its foes.
Naturally, all the words in the game will be appropriately Warhammer 40,000-themed, so this comedic spin might well turn out to be a great place to learn some lore and terminology.
