Slitherine

Anyone who still hasn’t taken advantage of the numerous occasions during which turn-based strategy game Warhammer 40,000: Gladius – Relics of War was free-to-keep has yet another chance to add it to their library: Slitherine has made the game free until May 29, 2025, on PC through Steam.

At the same time, a brand-new unit pack has been made available for the game, adding some iconic troop types to the already extensive line-up it has to offer.

The Onslaught Pack brings the following units to the table:

  • Norn Emissary – Tyranids
  • Squighog Boy – Orks
  • Sicarian Ruststalkers – Adeptus Mechanicus
  • Attilan Rough Rider – Astra Militarum
  • Rubric Marine – Chaos Space Marines
  • Vyper – Aeldari
  • Mandrake – Drukhari
  • Canoptek Reanimator – Necrons

Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector gets campaign pack

Slitherine’s other 40k title, Battlesector, is getting attention as well: A free update is adding the Crusade Mode and two brand-new units to the game, allowing players to access Ork Boyz with Choppas for the Orks as well as Dominions for the Adepta Sororitas.

The Sisters of Battle are also the focus of the game’s brand-new DLC — its high-requested first campaign pack. Titled Deeds of the Fallen, it contains a dozen narrative-driven missions that’ll see players command the Adapta Sororitas against the Orks. It comes with three additional units for the Sisters, adding Imagifiers, Castigator Battle Tanks, and Zephyrim to their roster.

The free Crusade Mode challenges players to start with a basic army and earn new troops and upgrades as they win battles — the fiercer the slaughter, the greater the rewards.

Towards the end of the year, the Black Legion will join Battlesector.
