Owlcat Games has announced that a Nintendo Switch 2 port of Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader is in the works, though a release date has not yet been revealed. The acclaimed CRPG is already available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, selling more than one million copies.

In the game, players become one of the titular Rogue Traders — a specially empowered agent of the Imperium of Mankind who has the privilege to explore and expand the outer reaches of the galaxy and even interact with hated alien races. Think of them as space conquistadors.

Players embark on an epic narrative full of twists and turns and grimdark dilemmas, which truly understands the setting and nails its atmosphere. With an in-depth ability customization system, several romance options, and different outcomes of many dialog choices, this is a game with a massive replayability value as well.

Alongside Rogue Trader’s Switch 2 announcement, Owlcat revealed that its upcoming CRPG, Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy, will go into an alpha test before the end of the year.
