SEGA reveals Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine Master Crafted Edition for PC and Xbox

SEGA has teamed up with developer SneakyBox to launch a remastered version of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine, the original third-person shooter featuring the iconic Captain Titus. It will be released on June 10, 2025, for PC and Xbox Series X|S and will be available via Xbox Game Pass on Day 1.
The Master Crafted Edition will include all base game content as well as DLC, supporting 4K resolutions (on PC and Series X) and sporting modernized controls, an overhauled interface, improved character models, and remastered audio — including over 100 new voicelines for the Orks. SneakyBox also upgraded the game to a 64-bit platform for enhanced stability.
Multiplayer will be back as well, supporting matches between two teams of up to eight players. Users can unlock and upgrade weapons, armor, and abilities to customize their loadouts in the three available classes of Assault, Devastator, and Tactical Marine.
“Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine – Master Crafted Edition isn't just a technical upgrade — it's a thoughtful restoration,” commented Vaidas Mikelskas from SneakyBox. “We aimed to preserve the spirit of the original while modernizing the experience for today’s players.”
Originally developed by Relic Entertainment, Space Marine was released in 2011. Its sequel from Saber Interactive came out in 2024 and managed to hit the mainstream like no 40k title before.
