Lara Croft and Duke Nukem are coming to World of Tanks

It’s a golden era for video game crossovers and even titles that aren’t Fortnite or Call of Duty are vying for collaborations with famous names. Wargaming has realized the power of collaborations very early on and landed some pretty fun ones for its games, from Azur Lane collaborating with World of Warships to Sabaton and Girls and Panzer coming to World of Tanks. Now, the popular vehicle combat game is adding two famed names from the annals of video game history: Lara Croft and Duke Nukem.

From July 11 to 21, 2025, a limited-time event will feature missions dedicated to both of them (30 for Lara, 40 for Duke), allowing players to unlock rewards related to the two characters — including both heroes as crew members and their signature vehicles. Wargaming got Keeley Hawes and Jon St. John to record the voice lines for the duo, so you’ll hear very familiar tones while you kick ass and chew bubblegum.

Those finishing the Lara Croft missions can expect a Tier VIII tank for the U.S. — the IMT. It’s a medium-sized tank that’s very sleek, swift, and accurate to reflect Croft’s combat style. It comes with some of the treasure hunter’s favorite gear, such as a winch, a harpoon, and lots of ropes.

For Duke Nukem, Wargaming has chosen the TS-6, a U.S. Tier IX heavy assault tank. You know what happens when the guy runs out of bubblegum, right? Well, this nasty piece of armor is the representation of that, bringing destruction wherever it points its gun. It also comes with its own nuclear reactor and enhanced weapon systems that include laser machine guns and grenade launchers.

It’s not the only big video game crossover to land on July 11, as Honkai: Star Rail welcomes Fate UBW that day.
