Kuro Games reveals Lupa for Wuthering Waves 2.4
By Marco Wutz

Kuro Games has confirmed Lupa for the Wuthering Waves 2.4 banners, making her the very first character from the upcoming region of Septimont. Her drip marketing reveals Lupa as a 5-Star Resonator that's likely dealing Fusion DMG and wielding a lance, though the reveal confirms it as being a broadblade for gameplay purposes.
Lupa, of course, is heavily associated with wolves by her name and the reveal artwork, which makes her the perfect candidate to introduce Septimont — itself a city-state in Rinascita that seems to have been inspired by Rome. The Romans, famously, told legends about their city being founded by twins who’d been suckled by a she-wolf in the wild. Rome was also built on seven hills and that’s where Septimont’s name is coming from: In Latin, septem means seven and mons means hill.
Lupa’s drip marketing goes even further on the Rome parallels, stating that she’s a gladiator: “The star gladiator of Septimont, a warrior with a pure heart, untamed spirit, intense passion, and immense potential. She will relentlessly pursue the things she admires, cherishing each moment that allows her to indulge in competition and self-expression on stage.”

Wuthering Waves 2.4 will also feature Cartethiya as a new Resonator.
