HoYoverse reveals Alice Thymefield for ZZZ 2.1

HoYoverse has revealed a second playable character for ZZZ 2.1: Alice Thymefield will be an Anomaly Agent dealing Physical DMG and join Ukinami Yuzuha as a member of Spook Shack. Similar to Yuzuha, the animation style of her reveal post indicates that she’ll be S-Rank.

Introducing herself as a member of the Thymefield family, Alice gives off some aristocratic – or at least very refined – vibes. This is reinforced by her choice of a fencing rapier as a weapon. A quote from Yuzuha accompanying Alice’s reveal seems to confirm her noble status.

“T—This... A Thymefield descendant would never back down from a challenge of this level,” one of Alice’s introductory quotes says. If that reminds you of Lucy, who was part of the nobility prior to running away from home and joining the Sons of Calydon, you’d be correct — the two know each other, as a quote from Lucy is part of Alice’s reveal.

Another quote seems to hint at Spook Shack’s true purpose as a faction: They might be ghost hunters: “Ah!! W—What is that thing?! My apologies. Coming from a scholarly family, I shouldn't have lost my composure like this... Fear stems from the limits of our understanding, so... While I swing my sword, I'm counting on you to track those anomalous parameters and identify the enemy's true form!”
