ZZZ's long-awaited Angels of Delusion are being teased once again

All of the factions HoYoverse teased for Zenless Zone Zero back in the run up to its initial launch are now available in the game — all but one: the Angels of Delusion. 

A clique of idols and streamers that’s still very much considered an underground band in New Eridu, according to in-game dialog, the Angels of Delusion garnered a lot of attention in one of the early special programs with their concept art, but mostly remained a no-show in the game. 

A member of the group finally appeared during an event earlier this year, confirming that they are still a thing, but it’s been silent around them again since then.

Now we have another sign of life from the Angels of Delusion in the form of accounts on various social media platforms: Accounts for the Angels of Delusion have appeared on X and YouTube – using the usual HoYoverse formula, i.e. separate accounts for Global, Japan, and South Korea – as well as Bilibili for China.

All of the accounts have posted the same thing: A photo of the group doing one of the currently trending poses, the cat shadow.

We are probably looking at another couple of versions with Krampus Compliance Authority and Yunkui Summit characters before getting to the Angels, but with the marketing ramping up we’ll hopefully hear more about them soon.
