The ESL Pro League Season 10 Finals kicked off Tuesday with the 16 best teams for the regular season heading to Odense, Denmark.
Teams in attendance have three things to fight for: the $250,000 grand prize, a win toward Intel Grand Slam Season 4 and a direct seed into IEM Katowice 2020. A lot on the line when considering how prestigious the ESL Pro League trophy is as well.
Here are the three best teams at the ESL Pro League Season 10 Finals.
3..Team Liquid
The Intel Grand Slam Season 2 champions fell just short to Astralis in the grand final at the ECS Season 8 Finals. It appears some time off has helped the North American team, but now is no time to rest. In fact, the team won’t even have much considering the immediate turnaround. As long as Team Liquid don’t fall too far behind and have a slow start, it’ll be a top team in Denmark.
2. Evil Geniuses
Evil Geniuses fell out of the ECS Season 8 Finals after running into Astralis in the semifinals. Despite disappointing finishes at IEM Beijing-Haidian and DreamHack Masters Malmo, EG has finished inside the top four in three out of six events winning two of them. The team has its work cut out for them in a tough group, but this team has championship aspirations nonetheless.
1. Astralis
Astralis lifted back-to-back trophies for the first time since BLAST Pro Series Sao Paulo after winning the ECS Season 8 Finals. With a flawless performance at IEM Beijing-Haidian to boot, Astralis appears back on form heading into a tournament on home soil.
The ESL Pro League Season 10 Finals take place Dec. 3-8 at the Odense Congress Center and Jyske Bank Arena in Odense, Denmark.
