1. Changes to the Survivor Pass
PUBG Corp may have dragged its feet when it came to the challenges in the Survivor Passes, but in the end the developer listened to players' complaints. Removing the most difficult challenges from the Survivor Pass showed PUBG Corp's willingness to listen to player feedback.
2. Erangel Loot Rebalance
PUBG Corp's efforts to rework the loot balance on Erangel that completely lacks the glamor of new content. PUBG Corp's commitment to undergoing the task regardless demonstrates the company's priorities are in creating a polished product for its players, rather than just chasing the dragon of its initial success and leaving the game unfinished.
3. PUBG Corp's Incentives
At the end of the day, PUBG is PUBG Corp's golden goose. The game is the company's first and only priority; without it, there is no PUBG Corp. The developer is deeply incentivized to make the game as good as it can possibly be. Cynics should keep that in mind when considering the current state of the game.
