Overwatch Summer Games 2021 is fast approaching and fans are excited about the new games, cosmetics, and other rewards. Here are three reasons why you should be excited about the Olympic-themed hottest event.

3 Reasons to be Excited for Overwatch Summer Games 2021

1. Lucio Ball

Summer Games 2021 will include a slew of content starting with everyone's favorite, Lucio Ball. Lucio Ball last year included two new maps, Sydney Harbour Arena and Busan Stadium, with a Remix version which have obstacles for Lucio's on the field to wallride fast onto the goalposts.

2. Weekly Challenges

Weekly Challenges have become the staple for events. Starting off players with sprays, stickers, and skins for players to earn. Three weeks of rewards for players to earn with every win counting as two points to reach the goal faster. Loot boxes also increase a player's chance at receiving skins, player icons, voice lines, emotes, victory poses, and past Summer game rewards.

3. Skins

Amazing skins are offered during this event, which includes five legendary and three epic skins. Although there have not been any announcements yet on who is receiving summer cosmetics, we have an idea on which heroes should earn them.
