Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 2 has been extended to June 4, which means that you have four more weeks of half the lobby landing at Sweaty Sands. In lieu of all of the bonus content coming with the extension of Season 2, here are locations in the current season are in serious need of an overhaul, or should just be replaced outright.

While some of these locations are perfectly fine during end-game circles and even during the drop, they all come up short one way or the other.

The Yacht

With only 11 chests and located extremely far from - everything else, a visit to The Yacht will have you running from the Storm all match.

One of the brand-new coast POIs in the new Chapter 2 map, The Yacht comes up short in multiple ways. Despite having a cool premise and giving off Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 vibes from Hijacked, unfortunately the negatives far outweigh any cool factor this POI might have. The Yacht firstly sports one of the lowest chest counts in the game out of any POI at only 11. Perhaps its biggest drawback to being a useful location -- primarily to land -- is simply how far it is from anyplace else. With Steamy Stacks already located in the Northeast corner of the map and nearby, the Yacht being even further could play out to be a huge risk in the amount of distance you might have to cover depending on how the circle plays out.

Lockie’s Lighthouse

Although a cool idea and great lookout spot, dropping in this location -- or even just spending any type of in-game time here -- is truly a waste of time. Having only a few buildings to explore, and the prospect of running in circles up a lighthouse for no real return, doesn’t exactly shout out hot-spot, and this location is in serious need of an overhaul.

Homely Hills

Quaint little town tucked on the hillside. But with buildings located some distance from each other, Homely Hills is a bit too quiet.

A quiet little town located not too far from Lockie’s Lighthouse, this spot isn’t an issue from a mid- or end-game perspective, but due to the limited loot available and the distance between houses, it doesn’t make for necessarily the best spot for looting or starting out a match. Whatever you do find here won’t be significant.

Weeping Woods

Great for building materials and shields, regarding loot this place leaves much to be desired.

Just like The Yacht, Weeping Woods lives up to its namesake with a palsy count of 11 chests scattered throughout this POI. With nothing much of interest coming out of this location, it would be best to simply stay away unless forced to make your way through here.

Compared to other prime locations boasting incredible Mythical Weapons, chest drops, and high-tier loot, these four locations in Chapter 2, Season 2 need some serious tinkering. With the upcoming Season 3 being pushed back, we will eventually see if Epic Games plans to do just that.
