Top 5 Celebrities That Have Been a Part of World of Warcraft

World of Warcraft has become almost as much of a pop culture icon in American and modern society as, say, the Simpsons. WoW is one of the most well known games out there and you'd be hard pressed to find someone who has not heard of the game.

So many people play the game that it's no surprise that even some celebrities have ended up putting hours into the game. Here is my list for the top nine celebrities that have or are still playing World of Warcraft.

Note: some celebrities may share the same spot for specific purposes such as playing together or being in content with each other for the game.

5. Christian Kluwe

While not so much a celebrity, Christian Kluwe is a professional NFL Punter/Kicker who has played for the Minnesota Vikings and the Oakland Raiders.

Christian has also done some time raiding and PvP'ing in World of Warcraft. He's apparently so good at the game that he was once ranked third in dungeon progression. He explains most of his accolades in the interview so I will let it do the talking.

4. Vin Diesel + Paul Walker

While Vin Diesel is probably still too busy driving cars fast through an arctic base in the new Fast and the Furious movie, he had some spare time back then to play with the late Paul Walker.

These two men were iconic for their roles in the Fast and the Furious franchise and were staple names in the industry. Around three year ago, Vin found footage of him and Paul playing World of Warcraft back in 2010.

I'm sure it brings back fond memories of the old days. It's equally heartwarming as it is sad.

3. Mila Kunis

One of my first crushes back when I used to watch her in the That's 70's Show, Mila Kunis, has had a wide array of acting and voice acting roles from Family Guy to Friends With Benefits.

Mila Kunis is a very talented actress and entertainer and she loves to pass the time playing WoW. She explains to an interviewer what the game is and what you do in the game. While the interviewer is a little patronizing, she excuses it and just talks WoW.

2. Robin Williams

Before his tragic suicide took place, Robin Williams was a known ultra nerd who played Nintendo games, loved obscure and mainstream animes, and played World of Warcraft.

While he may be long gone from us in the real world, in the World of Warcraft Robin is forever immortalized as Robin the genie who copies quotes from Aladdin's script.

1. Mr. T, Chuck Norris, William Shatner, Ozzy Osbourne

I had to combine these four celebrities at number one as they have been in legitimate commercials for the game and every single one of those commercials are legendary.

From Mr. T telling the commercial director that he can be a Night Elf Mohawk in the game to Ozzy Osbourne starting the intro to Crazy Train, these commercials are great nostalgia trips through pop culture history.

Every single one of these people had to have at least tried the game and the fact that I can see Ozzy Osbourne playing something like a Death Knight makes my day.
