5 Best Changes in League of Legends Patch 9.17

League of Legends Patch 9.17 went live Wednesday, and most of the changes to the game are either balance changes or new skins. Here are the five best changes to come from Patch 9.17.

5. The Infernal Skins

One of the new set of skins that is coming with Patch 9.17 is the set of new Infernal skins that will be for Shen, Galio, and Varus. These skins look well done and are affordably priced.

4. Kalista Buff

Kalista has been so far behind other marksmen for a long time now. Hopefully these buffs will put her back on the map in terms of playability.

3. Pantheon Buffs

Pantheon was not strong whatsoever upon the release of his rework, so these buffs are welcome to see. Hopefully, with as much work as Riot has put into Pantheon, he will be a strong choice.

2. New Elderwood Skins

Alongside the Infernal skins, there are three new Elderwood skins for Ahri, Veigar, and Nocturne. This skin line is very underused and we are happy to see some new skins take on the style.

1. Aurelion Sol Simplification

Aurelion Sol has been a complex champion since he was released. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but the changes Riot has made in this patch to him simplify the complicated parts of his kit without taking away too much of the reward for learning him.
