5 Best Junglers in League of Legends Patch 9.23

The best junglers in League of Legends Patch 9.23 changed significantly in the game's most recent update. Preseason patch for junglers are usually a tumultuous time, and this season is no exception. Riot has made some large changes to the jungle this year, so it might be a bit hard to understand which junglers are the best right now. Here are the five best junglers right now in Patch 9.23.

5 Best Junglers in League of Legends Patch 9.23

5. Ekko

It's safe to say that Ekko is officially one of the greatest junglers in the game right now, if not the best. He's an extremely safe pick, able to be played in most jungle matchups and can even be picked blind. Currently, he has a 52.75% winrate with an insane 11.1% playrate. For now, you could argue he is the king of the jungle and will remain so for a while unless there are some nerfs, or drastic changes to the meta.

4. Kha'Zix

Kha'Zix will forever be a relevant and meta jungler in League of Legends, it seems. He hasn't been touched by Riot in a while, the last buff he received was back in 9.15. The buff was minuscule and only added 10 damage to his Q at all ranks, but this might have been the slightest change to get people to start playing Kha'Zix again. He has a solid 50% winrate with a 11.6% play rate. He may not have the perma-stealth he was infamous for in previous seasons, but his isolated damage is still to be feared. Pair that with a decent jungle clear and you have one terrifying grasshopper.

3. Warwick

Warwick has been in a decent spot since his rework a few years back. He's always been relatively strong in solo queue and even seeing some play in the professional scene for a few weeks. However, his winrate has shot up drastically. He has the highest winrate of all junglers with a 53.63% winrate. His ability to easily solo dragons and be a jack of all trades jungler may be assisting him in this confusing preseason while most players try to figure out how the jungle works, but even so he deserves a mention.

2. Shaco

Shaco has been on a reign of terror since his rework. His clear is so creative and fast, he can gank level 3 while the enemy bot lane is barely reaching level 2. His damage late game doesn't fall off as hard, making squishy targets think twice before even attempting to leave the base. On the bright side, he is still a bit tricky to learn so you might not see him very often in solo queue. But should this clown show his face in one of your games, it will haunt you for a few hours.

1. Lee Sin

Lee Sin is still on fire after the pre-Worlds Patch in 9.18. Though he's still Lee Sin and is incredibly hard to master, it's much easier now to pick him up and play him than ever before. This also makes players who were already good at Lee Sin seem a bit insane. If you're on the fence about learning him, just watch Tian's performance in the 2019 Worlds Finals, that might convince you.
