If mid laners haven't hated Sylas already, League of Legends Patch 11.13 will continue to have Sylas players live in their heads rent free as he still reigns as one of the top five mid lane champions in this patch.

5 Best Mid Laners in League of Legends Patch 11.13

Patch 11.13 will see a lot top lane changes for their items and will leave the mid lane relatively untouched, however, there will be some picks to disrupt the flow of the already dominating champions as they vie to take the top spot in both professional play and match making.

1. Viego

The scrub stomper is still here to destroy players who can't play against him. There is a slight adjustment to his Blade of the Ruined King (Q) ability that will do less minion healing, but he will see more movement speed when using his Harrowed Path (E) ability with even higher missile speed and length. Though it will affect his jungling abilities slightly, having high mobility is crucial when coordinating kills and ganks across the map, and he'll likely remain in the top spot for mid laners in this patch because of it.

2. Rumble

Though Rumble is facing a slight movement speed and cooldown nerf to his Scrap Shield (W), the mechanized Yordle will see strength in the mid lane and in the jungle. Since providing as much utility as possible while dealing some free damage is the currently what's best for team compositions, Rumble fits into that role very well. He's not a champion that's expected to outshine other mid laners, however, abusing how good his utility is for roaming off the mid lane and in team fights is where his strength lies. As long as he remains alive in the early rounds, he'll likely carry the momentum for an easy win in the later stages of the match.

3. Qiyana

Mechanically-gifted players will have a breeze grabbing some free LP in solo queue with Qiyana, and professionals will continue to utilize her nightmarish roams to write an easy win for themselves. She provides a lot of burst damage after hitting level six, and if Qiyana players have any level of team coordination, ganks around the map could spell out an easy victory for her team.

4. Katarina

Katarina will see a lot of the same success this patch again as she is a menace to all mid laners and is nearly unstoppable now. Though tanks are coming to try and slow Katarina down, if she can get some very early kills, it's likely that whatever the tanks do will not be enough for Katarina to rush the back line and render the tanks useless.

5. Sylas

If it hasn't been put into player's rotation already, it's about time to now for the next few weeks as Sylas will continue his oppressive tyranny yet again for another patch. If he isn't picked, he has to be banned at all costs, even if that means allowing other strong champions for an enemy composition. There's not much to say about how terrifying he has been in previous patches; if he's played right, he's simply unstoppable.
