League of Legends Patch 11.18 is slated to hit live Thursday, Sept. 9, one day later than normal due to Labor Day.
Mid lane may be the area least touched by this large set of changes in Patch 11.18. A few mid laners are being altered, but the patch is overwhelmingly focused in other lanes. Nonetheless, here are the five best mid laners in League of Legends Patch 11.18.
5 Best Mid Laners in League of Legends Patch 11.18
Talon is currently one of the highest winrate mid laners. His kit is getting adjusted in Patch 11.18 but ultimately his strength should remain. With incredible burst and mobility, Talon can easily hunt down enemies in Patch 11.18.
Ryze is still incredibly strong, especially with players who understand when to use his ultimate well. His wave clear and ability to lock down enemies are both strengths that are still consistent in Patch 11.18.
Sylas is surging again in strength for competitive play. There are no upcoming changes to his kit, which means his strengths in long fights is still present. Sylas will still be a great pick in Patch 11.18.
Qiyana is hard to master but once done, is incredibly rewarding. Her kit is flexible and mobile while providing a lot of pressure and damage. Her kit is being adjusted in the upcoming patch, which will likely make her a slightly stronger pick than she is now.
Galio has favorable match ups in the meta right now due to the lack of AD assassins being played. Qiyana and Talon are both likely getting a little stronger in the upcoming patch, which may weaken Galio, but expect to see lots of AP still in the mid lane.
